Zheng Chenggong Memorial Park Introduction
Zheng Chenggong Memorial Park is located on Section 2 of Chengxi Street. It is said that in 1661, Zheng Chenggong landed in Taiwan at Luerhmen, and to commemorate his achievements, the Luerhmen Ma Zu Temple donated land to establish this memorial park. The entrance of the park features a grand red archway with traditional Chinese architectural style. To the left of the entrance is "Chenggong Forest," a grove planted to commemorate the 350th anniversary of Zheng Chenggong's landing. Inside the park, there is a tall statue of Zheng Chenggong and a monument inscribed with the words "National Hero Zheng Chenggong Luerhmen Landing Monument," written by Mr. Jingguo. The simple park area includes comfortable pavilions and spacious walkways, making it a popular spot for nearby residents to take a stroll after meals.
