Zheng Chenggong Memorial Park Introduction
Zheng Chenggong Memorial Park is located on Section 2 of Chengxi Street. It is said that in 1661, Zheng Chenggong landed in Taiwan from the Luerhmen area, and to commemorate his achievements, the Luerhmen Mazu Temple donated land to establish this memorial park. The entrance of the park features a majestic red archway rich in traditional Chinese architectural style. To the left inside the park is the "Chenggong Forest," which was planted to commemorate the 350th anniversary of Zheng Chenggong's landing. The park also includes a tall statue of Zheng Chenggong and a monument inscribed with the words "National Hero Zheng Chenggong Luerhmen Landing Monument," written by Mr. Jingguo. The simple park features comfortable pavilions and spacious walkways, making it a popular spot for local residents to take walks after meals.
