Hometown Traditional Delicious Seafood Noodles Introduction
"Home Town Traditional Delicacies" seafood noodles was established in 2010, but its history dates back to 1999. The owner, Chen Qiuli (born in 1969), is from Tuchengzi in Annan District. After marrying and moving to Sanku, she worked at Tainan Yicheng Fish and Mullet Fish Soup Shop. Due to long working hours, she couldn't take care of her children, so she quit her job and opened a noodle stall in front of Longde Temple in Sanku, selling fish and mullet fish soup noodles. Because the oil soup work was busy, she asked her sister-in-law, Chen Yuhua, to help take care of her children. Initially, Chen Qiuli only sold fish and mullet fish soup noodles; however, some customers didn't like the thick soup, so she considered that Tainan is a place where mullet fish is produced, making ingredients easy to source and fresh. Thus, she transitioned to selling seafood noodles, seafood rice, and more. In 2010, Chen Qiuli moved back to Tuchengzi, but still traveled to the Sanku noodle stall daily, leading to a decision to transfer the stall to her sister-in-law Chen Yuhua. She then opened her own noodle stall called "Home Town Traditional Delicacies" across from the Tuchengzi Market and continued her business. The seafood noodles use oil noodles, and the ingredients include clams, mullet fish skin, mullet fish fillets, mullet fish paste, squid paste, crab meat sticks, and oysters.
