Beishan Cliff Introduction
Beishan Cliff stands like a red wall on the northern coastline of Guningtou, with a forest of Casuarina trees at the edge and a row of anti-landing stakes along the coastline, highlighting its rugged terrain. During the Guningtou Battle in 1949, the fierce scenes of the conflict between the Kuomintang and the Communist forces here have become history. The Guningtou Battle History Museum honors this beach battlefield with a massive oil painting. Today, this area showcases new tourism opportunities with its unique geological formations, tranquil beaches, famous stone oyster fields, and horseshoe crab protection zones.
