Beishan Cliff Introduction
The Beishan Cliff stands like a red wall on the northern coast of Guningtou, facing the wind with its forest of Casuarina trees at the summit and lined with anti-landing stakes along the coastline, showcasing its rugged terrain. The intense battles between the Nationalists and the Communists during the Guningtou Battle in 1949 have become history, with large oil paintings in the Guningtou War History Museum commemorating this battlefield. Today, this area offers new tourism opportunities with its unique Cat Rock geological landscape, tranquil beaches, famous oyster farms, and horseshoe crab protection zones.
