Beishan Cliff Introduction
Beishan Cliff stands like a red wall on the northern coast of Guningtou, with its summit facing the wind and lined with Casuarina trees, while rows of anti-landing stakes along the coastline showcase its rugged terrain. The fierce battles between the Nationalist and Communist forces during the Guningtou War in 1949 have become history, with a large oil painting in the Guningtou War History Museum commemorating this beach battleground. Today, this area offers new tourism opportunities with its unique Cat Stone geological landscape, tranquil beaches, famous stone oyster fields, and a horseshoe crab protection area.
