Yuan Le An & Miss Morning Introduction

You are not just eating a cake; you are tasting the pure spirit of Taiwanese people. What year did it open? Perhaps 2016? Or was it 2014? Ms. Morning picks up her phone and scrolls back through the river of memories... Ms. Morning's Restaurant and Yuan Le An were once two restaurants sharing the same space. After relocating, they merged, offering creative brunches and Japanese-style set meals. Both brands share the same philosophy, insisting on using fresh ingredients prepared in a healthy, additive-free manner, sharing the food they love with their customers. The chef at Yuan Le An runs a Chinese medicine shop at home, allowing for direct mixing of the spices and flavor packets needed for cooking. With a passion for culinary arts, all dishes are made fresh, and even the ribs are hand-cut, prepared as if cooking for themselves. After successfully operating takeout meals for many years, when indoor dining was banned due to the Level 3 alert, many long-time customers thought of them for bento boxes first. Fortunately, their business was not greatly impacted during the pandemic! Ah! It actually opened in 2015. Ms. Morning finally scrolled to the year of the opening. Back then, there were not many brunch spots, and she brought quality Illy coffee and the wonderful skills of several home bakers to the people of Chiayi City. All the way through, it has remained consistent. Image source: Chiayi City Government Tourism and News Office | Photographer: Margaux
