Yuan Le An & Miss Morning Introduction
What you are eating is not just an egg cake, but the pure spirit of the Taiwanese people. What year did it open? 2016? Or was it 2014? Miss Morning picked up her phone and slid into the long river of memories... Miss Morning and Yuan Le An were once two restaurants sharing the same space, and after relocating, they merged, offering creative brunches and Japanese-style set meals. The two brands share the same philosophy, insisting on using fresh ingredients daily and cooking without additives, sharing the food they love with customers. The chef at Yuan Le An has a family traditional Chinese medicine shop, allowing her to directly mix the spices needed for cooking. Driven by a love for cooking, every meal is freshly prepared, even the ribs are personally crafted, made as if for herself. Having successfully operated takeout meal boxes for many years, when the Level 3 alert banned dine-in, many loyal customers immediately thought of them for bentos. Fortunately, during the pandemic, their business did not suffer significantly! Ah! It opened in 2015. Miss Morning finally scrolled to the year of the opening, when there were not many brunch places, bringing the citizens of Chiayi City a stable supply of Illy coffee and the wonderful skills of several home bakers. All along, they have remained consistent. Image source: Chiayi City Government Tourism Division | Photography: Margaux
