Jin San Xia - Bi Luo Chun Tea Egg Roll Set (2012 Special Souvenir) Introduction
During the early years of material scarcity in Taiwan, tea farmers often used ready-made fertilizer bags and flour bags, which they opened and assembled into large tea bags. This gift box features a small version of that burlap bag. It showcases the early imprints of agricultural associations established during the Japanese occupation, advertisements for tea designed by the Sanxia artist Li Meishu, and flour bags from the Cooperation between China and the U.S. during the time of restoration. The bags combine to depict the history of Sanxia tea and its unique varieties, using the best tea from Sanxia, Biluochun, to create tea packs and egg rolls, symbolizing the heritage of the Sanxia tea region and the culture and efforts of passing down the fragrant traditions!
