Gala Creative Park Introduction
A visit to Sanxia would not be complete without exploring Sanxia Old Street and its local delicacies. Recently, a new vibrant space filled with cultural and creative art has emerged – "Ganle Cultural and Creative Park." Converted from an old house, Ganle Cultural and Creative Park features a refreshing exterior and showcases the creative outcomes of artists and local heritage throughout its interior, capturing the unique atmosphere of Sanxia and forming a distinctive recreational area. Regular small exhibitions and performances, including film screenings and concerts, are held here each month. The founder of Ganle Cultural and Creative Park, Lin Jun-cheng, is a native of Sanxia and places great importance on integrating Taiwan's local environment, communities, and industries. Ganle Cultural and Creative Park is based on this concept: recognizing indigenous culture and committing to local development, encouraging more people to discover the beauty of this land. Returning to his hometown, he starts from scratch to piece together the inspiring elements of everyday life, packaging and storytelling, while integrating community building, cultural and creative products, artistic performances, and dining services, as well as offering eco-educational courses for parents and children. Additionally, since September 2010, Ganle Cultural and Creative Park has published a local independent magazine – the inaugural issue of "Ganle Cultural and Creative," which covers social issues, local culture, and artistic information, aiming to promote the "Ganle Spirit" more deeply.
