Gana Art and Cultural Space Introduction
A visit to Sanxia offers more than just the old street and its delicious street food; recently, a lively space filled with cultural and artistic vibes has emerged - "Ganle Cultural and Creative Space." Originally an old house, Ganle Cultural and Creative Space features a fresh and pleasant exterior. Inside, the decor displays the creative works that combine local artifacts with those of artists, encapsulating the unique atmosphere of Sanxia and creating a distinctive relaxation area. Each month, it regularly hosts small exhibitions and performances, including film appreciation and concerts. The founder of Ganle Cultural and Creative Space, Lin Jun-Cheung, is a native of Sanxia who places great importance on integrating Taiwan's local environment, culture, and industries. This concept is the foundation of Ganle Cultural and Creative Space: recognizing indigenous culture and committing to deep local roots while encouraging more people to discover the beauty of this land. Returning to his hometown, he started from scratch, piecing together the beautiful elements of everyday life, storytelling, and integrating community building, cultural and creative products, artistic performances, and dining services, even launching interactive ecological education courses for parents and children. Additionally, since September 2010, Ganle Cultural and Creative Space has published an independent magazine for local youth - the first issue of "Ganle Cultural and Creative," covering social issues, local culture, and artistic information, with the aim of promoting the "Ganle Spirit" more deeply.
