Gana Art & Culture Space Introduction
A visit to Sanxia is not complete without exploring Sanxia Old Street and its delicious local food, but recently a new lively space filled with culture and creativity has emerged - "Gán Lè Cultural and Creative Space." Reconstructed from an old house, Gán Lè features a fresh and pleasant exterior, while inside, the decor showcases the creative results of local artists and cultural artifacts, embodying the unique atmosphere of Sanxia and creating a distinctive resting area. Here, small performances, including film screenings and concerts, are held regularly each month. The founder of Gán Lè, Lin Jun-Cheng, a native of Sanxia, places great importance on integrating Taiwan's local environment, culture, and industries. Gán Lè is founded on the concept of recognizing indigenous culture, sticking to deep cultivation in the local area, and encouraging more people to discover the beauty of this land. Returning to his hometown, he started from scratch to piece together the beautiful elements of life, packaging and storytelling, while integrating community development, cultural and creative products, artistic performances, and dining services, even introducing interactive ecological education courses for parents and children. Additionally, since September 2010, Gán Lè has also published an independent magazine for local youth - the inaugural issue of "Gán Lè Cultural and Creative Space," which covers topics from social issues and local culture to art and cultural information, aiming to further promote the "Gán Lè spirit."
