Dongdao Dining Pavilion Introduction
Dongdao is a well-known retro restaurant located on Ren'ai Old Street in Sanxia. Although the owner is quite young, the decor includes furnishings from the 40s and 50s, such as old televisions, vintage movie posters, antique soda bottles, and rotary phones, evoking a deep sense of nostalgia and stirring happy memories for many. Outside the restaurant, there is a charming vintage tricycle that has become an important photo spot for visitors to Sanxia. The most famous dishes in the restaurant are the Pork Rib Rice and Braised Pork Rice, especially when enjoyed in front of an old black-and-white television, which rekindles the nostalgia of dining with family in earlier years. Dongdao's Pork Rib Rice features large, meticulously prepared pieces of pork, made from locally sourced black pork from Sanxia, paired with exquisite side dishes that are both delightful and filling, leaving a lasting impression. In addition to Pork Rib Rice, the popular Crispy Chicken Leg is also one of Dongdao's signature dishes. Alongside these dishes, there are a variety of noodles and dumplings, which are a must-try when browsing the old street.
