Dongdao Dining Pavilion Introduction
Dong Dao is a well-known retro restaurant located on Ren'ai Old Street in Sanxia. Although the owner is quite young, the decor features vintage furniture from 40 to 50 years ago, including old televisions, movie posters, soda bottles, and rotary phones, which evoke a strong sense of nostalgia and bring back many happy memories. Outside the restaurant, there is a very vintage three-wheeled cart that has become an important photo spot for tourists in Sanxia. The most famous dishes in the restaurant are the highly praised rib rice and braised pork rice, especially when sitting in front of the old black-and-white television enjoying rib rice, it stirs up the nostalgia of having meals with family in the past. Dong Dao's rib rice is generous in serving, delicately prepared using carefully selected local black pork from Sanxia, paired with exquisite side dishes, making it both delicious and filling, leaving a lasting impression. In addition to rib rice, the popular crispy chicken leg is also one of Dong Dao’s signature dishes. Besides rib rice, chicken leg rice, and braised pork rice, there are various types of noodles that one should not miss while exploring the old street.
