Jin San Xia - Bi Luo Chun Tea Egg Roll Set (2012 Specialty Souvenir) Introduction
During the early years of material scarcity in Taiwan, tea farmers often disassembled ready-made fertilizer bags and flour bags to construct large tea bags. This gift box features a smaller version of such a burlap bag. It carries the imprint of the agricultural associations established during the Japanese colonial period, with tea advertisements designed by Sanxia artist Li Meishu, as well as flour bags from the Sino-American cooperation after the restoration of Taiwan. The varied layers symbolize the rich tea history of Sanxia and its unique tea varieties.
