Gu-Bo Handmade Rice Noodles Introduction
Gu Bo Rice Noodles is a beloved snack shop located on Minquan Old Street in Sanxia, highly praised by food enthusiasts. Many people assume that the owner, Gu Guohuang, must have decades of culinary expertise to master the art of making rice noodles so perfectly. In fact, more than ten years ago, Mr. Gu was a well-known tailor on Sanxia Old Street. However, due to the pressure from the evolving ready-to-wear market, he decided to pursue his culinary passion in Hsinchu, where he learned the craft. With the perseverance characteristic of Hakka people, he created the exquisite traditional Hakka rice noodles.
