Gu Bo Rice Noodles is a popular snack shop located on Minquan Old Street in Sanshia, highly praised by food experts. Many people think the owner, Gu Guohuang, possesses decades of culinary skills to masterrice noodles so perfectly. In fact, over a decade ago, Gu was a well-known tailor on Sanshia Old Street, but due to the evolving ready-to-wear market, he decided to train in Hsinchu. With the tenacity of the Hakka spirit, he created the traditional Hakka rice noodles that have garnered rave reviews. After more than ten years, he has made a name for himself on the old street, and now, to enjoy a delicious bowl of fragrant rice noodles at Gu Bo's shop, you sometimes have to wait outside for a spot to sit.
