Sanxia Li Xi Kou Roasted Sausage Introduction
Among the several sausage shops on Chengfu Road, Sanxia Li Xi Kou Black Pork Sausage is a beloved old shop that local food enthusiasts often mention for its unique texture. On weekends, the store is always busy, with customers standing to enjoy their sausages on-site or waiting to take some home, contributing to the culinary fame of Li Xi Kou. Owner Li started making sausages with Sanxia's black-haired pigs over 30 years ago, initially grilling sausages by the roadside for passing tourists. Later, he introduced the only tendon-free black pork sausage in Taiwan, offering seven flavors: Original, Spicy, Black Pepper, Garlic, Red Yeast Rice, Five Spice, and Sorghum Wine. With a unique ratio of fat to lean meat, each sausage is perfectly juicy and incredibly delicious when grilled.
