Wang Ting Time Science and Art Experience Center Introduction
ATOP was founded in 1984 and successfully developed computer connectors, mice, pen tubes, and plastic gears for quartz clock movements. In 2002, with the advent of the global village era, ATOP made significant investments to collaborate with the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to develop the "World Time Zone Clock Movement," seeking expertise in Switzerland. After seven years of effort and leveraging their self-developed technology, ATOP designed the World Time Zone Clock which allows users to rotate the city dial, automatically changing the time displayed and indicating day and night. The product has obtained patents in various countries and has won multiple national and international design awards. In 2012, ATOP established the Time Science and Art Experience Center, themed around time. What is time? The guided courses focus on the theme of time, offering experiential learning through the five senses, engaging activities to understand global time zones, and insights into clock manufacturing, assembly, and crucial components. Visitors can DIY assemble quartz clock movements, create personalized DIY products, and experience the craftsmanship of watchmakers. The ATOP Time Science and Art Experience Center is a hall of time that combines knowledge, science, and art, providing an enjoyable educational experience.
