Wang Ting Time Science and Art Experience Center Introduction
Wang Ding (ATOP) was founded in 1984 and successfully developed computer connectors, mice, pen tubes, and plastic gears for quartz clock movements. In 2002, sensing the arrival of the global village era, ATOP invested heavily to cooperate with the Industrial Technology Research Institute to develop the "World Time Zone Clock Movement" in order to stand out among numerous movement factories, and went to Switzerland for insights. After seven years of effort, relying on a complete set of proprietary technology, ATOP designed and developed the World Time Zone Clock. By turning the city dial of the watch, the hands automatically adjust the time, and the watch face also displays day and night. The company has obtained various patents in different countries and has won numerous domestic and international design awards. In 2012, it established a time-themed experiential museum. What is time? The guided courses revolve around the theme of time, utilizing the five senses and fun, life-oriented experiences to understand different world time zones, how clocks and watches are manufactured and assembled, as well as important components. Visitors can engage in DIY activities to deeply experience assembling quartz clock movements, and design their own exclusive DIY products while experiencing the craftsmanship of clockmakers! The Wang Ding Time Science and Art Experience Museum is a hall that integrates knowledge of time, science, and art in an engaging and educational manner.
