In its early days, Cherry Grandpa was just a small bakery located in Jingmei Wanlong, striving to provide the freshest and most timely bread and cakes for the local residents. Later, in response to holiday demands, they learned how to make nougat, developing a version that replaced traditional high-calorie peanuts with healthier almonds. In the later stages, they began focusing on the production of nougat and traditional Chinese snacks like jujube walnut cakes as gifts. Cherry Grandpa believes that "eating is a matter of conscience." He drives a small truck into remote areas to seek out unique agricultural products cultivated with care by local farmers across the island.
