Milingan Amphitheater Introduction
"Miling'an" means "telling stories" in the Paiwan language, embodying the mythological spirit of the indigenous ancestors, land, and the mutual care between people and nature, which symbolizes the importance of humility, cherishing blessings, and protecting the land for humanity today. Miling'an is not a single performance; each show serves as a connection between the past and present, whether in spirit or substance. The voices and languages of the Paiwan people continuously internalize the wisdom of their ancestors and life stories, linking them to modern societal thoughts and issues, allowing the stories of this land to be told and sung for generations. Led by Paiwan soul singer Reis and producer Hu Jian, Reis is the winner of the Best Vocal Award in the Traditional and Arts category at the 15th Golden Melody Awards. The theater company has operated the "Miling'an Musical Theater" in the Xindian area, integrating performing arts with indigenous culture. The "Miling'an Lakeside Musical" is regularly performed every Friday and Saturday at the Fullon Hotel Wulai (No. 3, Yandi, Wulai District, New Taipei City).
