Little Lotte Dumpling House Introduction
Xiao Lotte Dumpling House, formerly known as Tongfu Restaurant, was established in 1953 by Mr. Du Yushan at the intersection of Aiguo East Road and Boai Road as a northern cuisine restaurant. Due to changes in location and environment, the elder Mr. Du and his wife opened Xiao Lotte Dumpling House on Wuchang Street (Ximending Film Street) in 1974. In 1979, Mrs. Du opened a branch at the current site in Xindian, and later, under the supervision of the elderly couple, their second-generation children refurbished and reopened the restaurant. The second generation honors the business philosophy of their elders, carefully selecting ingredients without adding any preservatives or artificial coloring, making dumplings by hand with freshness as the priority, which has earned the love and recognition of many locals.
