Amei Hotel Introduction
Amei Hotel's signature dish is the Claypot Duck, which has a history of 30 years since its establishment. The unique characteristic of this dish is that the meat is cooked to perfection, tender yet not mushy. The broth has a sweet taste that enhances the overall experience. In addition to the duck, Napa cabbage is another notable feature; the cabbage in the Claypot Duck absorbs the oil, making it incredibly delicious when paired with white rice. The broth is made by simmering pork bones, and the cabbage is cooked until soft. A medium tender duck, weighing about 3.5 pounds, is lightly deep-fried and then placed in the claypot along with ingredients such as tofu, shredded meat, flatfish, bird eggs, straw mushrooms, and golden needle mushrooms. The dish is slow-cooked for about 2 hours to perfection.
