Wenfeng Tea House Introduction
The ancestors of the Chen family immigrated from Quanzhou, Fujian Province to Taiwan during the Qing Tongzhi period, settling next to the "Wu Garden" of the wealthy merchant Wu Shangxin in Fangqiaotou, with a history of 138 years to date. The Wenfeng Tea House was passed down through three generations, and starting from the fourth generation, the inheritance was carried out sequentially among the siblings. The fourth generation's Chen Fulin first passed it to his eldest son Chen Yulin, then after over 20 years, the management was taken over by his sister before being passed down to the current sixth generation, Chen Yuxiong and his wife Huang Yumei. The specialty is that the shop is not large, but it is furnished with various antique tea sets, tea cakes, old tea barrels, and other tea artifacts.
