Wenfeng Tea House Introduction
The ancestors of Chen immigrated to Taiwan from Quanzhou, Fujian during the Qing Tongzhi period, settling next to the wealthy merchant Wu Shangxin's "Wu Garden" in Fangqiaotou. This establishment has a history of 138 years. Up to the third generation, Wenfeng Tea House was passed down through generations. The fourth generation began a sequential inheritance by siblings, starting with Chen Fulian passing it to his eldest son, Chen Yulin. After that, it was managed by his sister for over twenty years, before being passed to the current sixth generation, Chen Yuxiong and Huang Yumei. The distinctive feature of the shop is its modest size, yet it is adorned with various antique tea utensils, tea cakes, old tea barrels, and other tea artifacts.
