Wenfeng Tea House Introduction
The ancestors of the Chen family immigrated to Taiwan from Quanzhou, Fujian Province during the Qing Tongzhi period, settling next to the "Wu Garden" of wealthy businessman Wu Shangxin in Fangqiaotou, with a history of 138 years. The Wenfeng Tea Shop has been passed down through generations until the third generation, with the fourth generation being inherited sequentially by siblings. It was first passed from the fourth generation's Chen Fulun to his eldest son Chen Yulun, then taken over by his sister who managed it for over twenty years, and is currently run by the sixth generation couple, Chen Yuxiong and Huang Yumei. The shop is not large, but it displays various antique tea utensils, tea cakes, old tea barrels, and other tea artifacts.
