Ah-Hsiah Restaurant Introduction
The founder of "A-Hsia Restaurant," Ms. Wu Jin-Hsia, was unable to continue her education due to family financial reasons and helped at her father's "Fan Zhuo Zi" to support the family and raise her younger siblings. After the war, they moved to the area near the current National Flower Building in the Central Market, selling deep-fried meatballs, large intestines, pig intestines, shrimp rolls, and more. Due to its prime location and excellent taste, it gradually gained popularity, attracting many well-known political figures from Tainan as loyal customers. In 1983, it relocated to its current site and officially named "A-Hsia Restaurant." At that time, it gained widespread fame when former President Chiang Ching-Kuo visited, becoming a must-visit place for future Taiwanese presidents, political figures, and celebrities when they came to Tainan.
