A-Hsia Restaurant Introduction
A-Hsia Restaurant was founded by Ms. Wu Jin-Hsia, who could not continue her education due to family finances and helped out at her father's "fan table" to support her family and raise her younger siblings. After the war, they moved to the area near the Central Market, now known as the National Flower Building, where they sold deep-fried meatballs, large intestines, vermicelli sausages, and shrimp rolls. Due to the prime location and excellent flavors, the restaurant gradually gained popularity, becoming a favorite of many well-known politicians from Tainan. In the 72nd year of the Republic, they relocated to the current site and officially named it "A-Hsia Restaurant." The restaurant gained widespread acclaim after being visited by former President Chiang Ching-kuo, becoming a must-visit spot for future presidents, politicians, and celebrities when they visited Tainan.
