Bao'an Road Rice Cake Introduction
The restaurant originated in 1961, founded by the couple Hong Bing-ren, who started their business at the intersection of Ximen Road and Fujian Road in Tainan City (location: Xia Dadao). In 1980, due to road expansion and demolition, they relocated to the current site to continue operations. It is now operated by the second generation. Our rice cakes adhere to traditional practices, preserving the authentic taste with unique flavors, aromatic minced pork, and fresh fish flakes, and we also retain the traditional wrapping method (using bamboo leaves). After steaming, the flavor is enhanced even further.
