Bao'an Road Rice Cake Introduction
The restaurant originated in the 50th year of the Republic of China, founded by the couple Hong Bing-ren at the intersection of Ximen Road and Fuzhong Road in Tainan City (local name: Xia Dadao). In the 69th year, due to road expansion and demolition, it was relocated to the current site and continues to operate, now managed by the second generation. Our rice cake insists on traditional methods, preserving the old flavor, with a unique taste, aromatic minced pork, and fresh fish fillet, while also retaining the traditional wrapping method (using bamboo leaves). After steaming, it enhances the flavor even more.
