Shang Fu Snack Shop Introduction
Originally located at the Old Dongmen Circle, the restaurant started serving oil soup and moved to the wall beside Xiaonan and Shih Chien University Affiliated Elementary School after being dismantled in 1968. During both lunch and dinner hours, there is always a long line. When asked about their specialty, the owner replied straightforwardly: "They insist on using fresh pork." The braised pork rib rice and curry rice are both priced at NT$55, and the Chinese meal set at NT$110 is one of the features that has been passed down since the establishment. The Chinese meal is similar to a set meal and includes a lettuce salad, fried fish, fried shrimp, and fried pork chop. In addition to these four signature dishes, the restaurant also offers three soups: "Chuanxiong Brain Soup, Pork Rib Soup, and Miso Soup," which are definitely worth trying.
