Shangfu Snack Shop Introduction
Originally located at the old Dongmen Circle, the restaurant was known for its fried dough soup. After being relocated in 1968, it moved to the wall next to Xiaonan and the Affiliated Elementary School of National Taiwan Normal University. Whether during lunch or dinner, there is always a long line. When asked about their specialty, the owner answered directly: "We insist on using fresh pork." The braised pork rib rice for NT$55, curry rice for NT$55, and the lunch set for NT$110 have also been staples since the restaurant's inception. The lunch set is similar to a combo meal, featuring a salad, fried fish, fried shrimp, and fried pork cutlet. In addition to these four signature dishes, the restaurant offers three types of soup: "Chuanxiong Brain Soup, Pork Rib Soup, and Miso Soup," all of which are certainly worth trying.
