Shanli Aiyu Ice Introduction
Unlike fake Aiyu made from starch, the Aiyu here is authentic, made from real Aiyu fruit. It goes through the following steps before taking shape: first, the Aiyu fruit is picked, split open, and then sun-dried to dry out the flesh inside. Next, the Aiyu seeds from the fruit are extracted and placed in a special cloth to be rubbed and washed in water to extract the sticky "Aiyu jelly." Finally, the Aiyu jelly is placed in a bucket of water, and after 50 minutes, it will freeze and form into a wobbly, plump Aiyu jelly! The pudding here is also quite famous; unlike other puddings, this one is white and contains no coloring agents (traditional puddings often appear yellow due to added coloring).
