Niuchoupu Rice Dumpling Introduction
Near Guami North Flower Village, water buffaloes used to gather frequently, and it was formerly known as Niuchao Lake. This area is filled with bamboo forests, and the most thoughtful breakfast for bamboo shoot farmers who rise early to dig up bamboo shoots is the aromatic "Hanzai Rice Dumplings," which has been a favorite for half a century! Hanzai Rice Dumplings are authentic southern-style dumplings stuffed with salted egg yolk, taro, pork chunks, and peanut powder. The dumpling leaves used are the wonderfully fragrant banana leaves, and the glutinous rice is produced in the Changhua area, which is known for its suitable soil that yields the most chewy and aromatic rice. Strict quality control of the ingredients from inside to outside is the first step to the deliciousness of the meat dumplings, combined with decades of cooking experience; even without a signboard, they are still a hometown flavor that the people of Guami flock to.
