Chen's Handmade Tofu Pudding Introduction
Hidden in the alleys of Tainan, without large signs or crowds, there is a traditional tofu dessert shop that locals have been talking about. The elderly owner, who has been making tofu for 50 years, passed down the handmade tofu recipe to his grandson in his twenties. The Tofu King started pushing a cart with a shoulder pole in 1949, when the only offering was tofu with syrup, hence it was called traditional tofu. Now that mixed toppings are popular, we have also introduced various delicious tofu options. Tapioca Pearls: Soft and chewy traditional-style pearls. If left overnight, they may stick together, and no chemical additives are used. Red Beans: Made using Pingtung's Wandan red beans, which are thin-skinned and meaty, cooked by us to ensure quality. Lemon and Kumquat: Made from fresh fruit juice, not canned. Furthermore, our syrup is made from a mix of granulated sugar and brown sugar, providing a natural aroma for your peace of mind while enjoying our products.
