Founded in the late Qing Dynasty, Xin Shun Fa specializes in the production of malt syrup and winter melon candy. For over a century, their crafting techniques have remained pure, delivering rich flavors. During times of scarce resources, being able to enjoy malt syrup was indeed a luxury. The business is now carried on by the fourth generation, Lu Ming-He, who generously shares this sweet, nostalgic taste with everyone. The existence of malt syrup also gave rise to malt sugar cakes, making childhood sweet for many children. This can be regarded as one of the beloved snacks of that time!
