If we talk about being obsessed with coffee, it's hard not to mention Joe, the owner of "Triangle and Cat." After graduating from university, Joe fell deeply in love with coffee during her first job. To improve her skills, she spent two years commuting three hours daily to Shenkeng to learn roasting techniques. Graduating from a Department of Applied Foreign Languages, she carried her family's strong expectations. Although she initially worked in the manufacturing industry to meet these expectations, her passion for coffee ultimately led her to pursue her interest. Together with her coffee-loving sister, her supportive brother-in-law, and their beloved cat, they opened the café "Triangle and Cat." With the knowledge and skills she acquired, Joe aims to provide customers with drinks that are not commonly found in regular coffee shops. Therefore, the café specially introduces coffee beans from the San José estate in Colombia that undergo oak barrel fermentation and exquisite washing methods, resulting in coffee infused with whiskey aromas. Alternatively, by using light roasting techniques, the coffee beans retain their fruity fragrance and sweetness, differing from the bitter taste of medium to dark roasts. One of the café's signature drinks is the "Wild Ginger Flower Latte," which combines wild ginger flower jam with the latte, allowing customers to enjoy the rich flavor of the latte along with the unique aroma of wild ginger flowers. Additionally, the "Vegetarian Burger" is a popular dish, made fresh daily and available in limited quantities, so reservations are recommended! This burger is crafted using locally sourced vegetables and paired with handmade bread, transforming the greasy texture typically associated with burgers into a healthier and delicious option. While the café imports green coffee beans, they are all roasted in-house, with customers able to witness the entire roasting process, ensuring complete transparency.
