To enhance his skills, he commuted three hours daily for two years to work in ShenKeng, learning about roasting techniques. Graduating from a foreign languages department, he carried the heavy expectations of his family. Although he briefly shifted to the manufacturing industry to meet those expectations, he ultimately pursued his passion for coffee. Together with his coffee-loving sister, her supportive husband, and a beloved cat that has accompanied them through this journey, they opened the coffee shop "Triangle and Cat." With the knowledge and skills he acquired, Joe aims to offer customers something beyond what typical coffee shops provide. The café features specially sourced coffee beans from Colombia’s San Jose estate, fermented in oak barrels using a refined washing method, creating coffees with hints of whiskey aroma. Additionally, using a light roasting process, the coffee beans retain fruity flavors and sweetness, contrasting the bitterness of medium to dark roasts. One signature drink, the "Wild Ginger Flower Latte," incorporates a wild ginger flower syrup, blending the richness of the latte with the unique fragrance of the wild ginger flower. Another popular item is the "Vegetarian Burger." Made fresh daily in limited quantities, advance orders are highly recommended! This burger utilizes local farm-fresh vegetables paired with handmade bread, transforming the greasy perception of a burger into a dish that is both healthy and delicious. While the café imports green beans, they are roasted in-house with a completely transparent process, allowing customers to view the roasting.
