In an affordable café, a fire destroyed Huang Huixue's home, leaving her with nothing. To help her regain her spirit and find a purpose in life, her friends suggested opening a coffee shop. This was the beginning of her journey with coffee, and as a devout Christian, she firmly believes that it was God who opened another window for her. Indeed, her pride, the cold brew coffee, was created through this exploration - unable to afford expensive equipment, she used a similar drip cone, adjusting the drip rate and water quality to craft different taste profiles for each cup of cold brew. In addition to cold brew coffee, the shop also specializes in "hand-brewed coffee," where the equipment is brought directly to the customer's table for a freshly brewed experience, using different methods to showcase the coffee's flavor according to the customer's preference. The coffee beans used in the shop are also roasted in-house and carefully selected by Huixue. Huang Huixue is also the first cup taster in Chiayi. With her love for coffee and a natural palate, she successfully passed the five-day exam on her first attempt through self-study, experimentation, and humble learning. This was surprising to her friends and family and strengthened her determination to run a coffee shop. The journey from nothing to something was not easy; the setbacks and failures only fueled her drive, aligning with her original intention to provide professional and delicious coffee in Chiayi.
