Coffee Prescription Introduction
During summer, enjoy a cup of world champion coffee and the unique combination of southern gate starfruit juice coffee at Cafe Jifei located on Anle Street in Chiayi City. This narrow street is small and intimate, with limited seating, featuring a simple and warm style that allows for relaxation. The owner, Xiao Yu, has worked for many years at Simple Kaffa and is a direct disciple of world champion barista Wu Ze-Lin. In 2021, Xiao Yu returned home to open the shop, bringing Xingbo coffee beans to Chiayi so that locals can enjoy champion coffee without having to queue in Taipei. The founding philosophy of the café is to share the coffee drinking culture learned in Taipei with fellow enthusiasts in the hometown. Cafe Jifei offers hand-brewed and espresso coffees, as well as daily limited desserts to pair with. For those who do not prefer pure coffee, creative drinks are available. The summer lemon coffee series contains juice from the renowned southern gate starfruit, providing a delightful surprise. Legend has it that one must try the 1+1 (espresso + cappuccino) at Xingbo, and you can do the same at Cafe Jifei! Xiao Yu takes great pride in their cappuccino and strongly recommends drinking it all at once to experience the fusion of fine foam and crema, delivering a smooth, rich, and aromatic satisfaction.
