Cafe Jiefang Introduction
In the summer, enjoy a cup of world champion coffee and the special South Gate starfruit juice coffee located on Anle Street in Chiayi City. It’s a narrow street, resembling an alley, with a cozy and simple style that allows for relaxation in a small space with limited seating. The owner, Xiao Yu, worked for many years at Simple Kaffa and is a direct disciple of world champion barista Wu Ze-lin. In 2021, Xiao Yu returned to open a shop, bringing Singbo coffee beans to Chiayi so that locals can enjoy champion coffee without having to queue in Taipei. The shop’s philosophy is to share the refined coffee culture learned in Taipei with fellow enthusiasts from her hometown. The Coffee Solution offers hand-brewed coffee and espresso, along with daily limited desserts to pair with. For those who don’t prefer pure coffee, creative beverages are also available. The summer lemon coffee series features the starfruit juice from the old South Gate store in Chiayi, which is surprising and delightful. There's a legend that one must order the 1+1 (espresso + cappuccino) at Singbo Coffee, and you can do the same at the Coffee Solution! Xiao Yu takes special pride in her cappuccino, strongly recommending that it be consumed in one sip to experience the fusion of fine milk foam and crema, providing a smooth, rich, and aromatic satisfaction.
