Fuzhang Liangcai Wood Workshop Introduction
The Escape Block Workshop was established in 2018 in the old prison dormitory area of Chiayi, focusing on wood as its main element to promote wooden architecture, wood culture, and wood education. It inherits the wooden history of the past and advocates the goodness of wood, hoping that these beautiful things will sustainably pass on in the wooden capital of Chiayi. The recommended "Escape Block" is inspired by the imagery of a prison and uses Alaska cedar as its material, combining the story of the old prison’s transformation into a museum. It breaks down the walls to invite people in for visits and develops an engaging and educational block tabletop game.
