Fuzhang Liangcai Woodcraft Workshop Introduction
The Escape Block Workshop was established in 2018 in the former dormitory area of the Chiayi Old Prison. It focuses on wood as its main element, promoting wooden architecture, wood culture, and wood education, while carrying on the traditional wooden history from the past. The workshop aims to ensure that these beautiful aspects of wood persist in Chiayi, the capital of wood. The recommended "Escape Block" draws inspiration from the imagery of a prison, using Alaskan cedar as its material. It combines the story of the old prison's transformation into a museum, breaking down walls to invite people for visits, and develops an entertaining and educational block-based tabletop game. Similar to a stacking game, it is suitable for all ages and easy to play.
