Yongfang Bakery Introduction
Yongfang Bakery was established in 1995 by Mr. Tsai Yao-nan. The shop typically offers a variety of products such as bread, longevity buns, turtle-shaped pastries, and wedding cakes. Among them, the signature product and best-seller is the bird-shaped cake. Due to his great-grandfather's past experience selling red turtle cakes, Mr. Tsai learned baking from a young age and even worked as a hotel chef. As a result, the production methods at Yongfang Bakery differ from traditional pastry shops. For example, the dough for the bird-shaped cakes is made using hot water dough, which allows for thinner rolling and results in a crispier texture after baking. Having been selected as one of the "319 Rural Smiling Shops" by Business Weekly, Yongfang Bakery has developed six new flavors to provide customers with more options: red bean, sweet potato, taro, matcha, mung bean paste, and mushroom curry.
