Tangshan Mochi: A 70-Year-Old Tradition Earns the "Classic" Label In 2002, it won the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Traditional Flavor Food Evaluation for its "Mochi Jelly," boasting a history of 70 years. The founder, Lin Dong, learned the craft of making authentic Tangshan mochi through friendships with people from Tangshan. The signature traditional mochi combines the fragrance of glutinous rice with a chewy texture, ensuring no tangles with the teeth. Each piece is filled with visible mung bean paste and complemented by fragrant sweet peanut powder, offering a uniquely sweet and salty taste.
