Mitaimu Sister Seafood Restaurant Introduction
In 1967, the Mi Tai Mu sister and her family arrived in Chenggong Township. Initially, they made a living by selling ice, but later they met an elderly Hakka lady who told them that selling ice only had profits during the summer, and they needed to think of something else for other seasons. She then taught them how to make Mi Tai Mu, which marked the beginning of the Mi Tai Mu sister's legend. Later, Mama Liu used a cart to sell along the streets, offering not only Mi Tai Mu but also some side dishes. In an era when a bowl of Mi Tai Mu was sold for one dollar, it is said that the highest recorded daily sales could reach over a thousand dollars. Even by today's standards, a daily income of a thousand dollars is considered good, especially when that money had much more value at that time. Of course, the deliciousness of Mi Tai Mu speaks for itself, but another reason for the business's success was that at that time, there was only one restaurant and another noodle stall in Chenggong Township, leaving the locals with few choices. Gradually, the Mi Tai Mu sister's business took off.
