Wutai Christian Presbyterian Church Introduction
The Presbyterian Church is the spiritual pillar of the Rukai people, first established in 1954 by Pastor Lin Zhengguang from the Haocha Village Church, who additionally preached in Wutai. This church integrates both Rukai and Western characteristics and is a product of the villagers' collective effort. During its construction, villagers utilized their respective skills in a cooperative manner. The church was reconstructed in 2001, taking five years and four months to complete. Officially finished in 2007, it primarily uses stone as its main material, resembling a castle standing amidst the mountains, giving this church, situated among the layered hills, a unique character.
