Jincheng Lake Bird Watching Area Introduction
Jincheng Lake was originally used to regulate the water level of the newly formed coastal land in Haipu, and now serves as the main drainage outlet for farmland in the Gangnan area. The intertidal zone of Jincheng Lake is home to many coastal organisms, attracting birds to forage. The two sandbars in the center of the lake have become a habitat for birds, making it the best time for birdwatching during high and low tides. Jincheng Lake is also the best spot for observing waterfowl in the Hsinchu area.
