Jincheng Lake Bird Watching Area Introduction
In the past, Jincheng Lake was used to regulate the water level of the Haipu new land, but today it serves as the main drainage outlet for farmland in the Gangnan area. The intertidal zone of Jincheng Lake is home to many coastal organisms, attracting birds to forage. The two sandbars in the center of the lake have become habitats for birds, making the tidal changes the best time for birdwatching. Jincheng Lake is also the best place to observe waterfowl in the Hsinchu area.
