Jincheng Lake Birdwatching Area Introduction
The early Jin Cheng Lake was used to regulate the water level of the reclaimed land, while now it serves as the main drainage outlet for the agricultural fields in the Gangnan area. The intertidal zone of Jin Cheng Lake is home to many coastal organisms, attracting birds to forage. The two sandbars in the center of the lake have become resting places for birds, and the best time for birdwatching is during high and low tides. Jin Cheng Lake is also the best spot to observe waterfowl in the Hsinchu area.
