Jincheng Lake Birdwatching Area Introduction
In the past, Jincheng Lake was used to regulate the water level of the newly reclaimed land of Haipu. Today, it serves as the main drainage outlet for farmland in the Gangnan area. The intertidal zone of Jincheng Lake is home to many coastal organisms, attracting birds to forage. The two sandbars in the center of the lake have become resting spots for birds, making it the best time for birdwatching during high and low tides. Jincheng Lake is also the prime location for observing waterfowl in the Hsinchu area.
