Jincheng Lake Bird Watching Area Introduction
In the past, Jincheng Lake was used to regulate the water level of the reclaimed coastal land, but today it serves as the main drainage outlet for farmland in the Gangnan area. The intertidal zone of Jincheng Lake is home to many coastal organisms, attracting birds for foraging. The two sandbars in the center of the lake have become habitats for birds, making the times of high and low tide the best moments for birdwatching. Jincheng Lake is also the best location in the Hsinchu area for observing waterfowl.
