Songshan Cihui Temple Introduction
"Mountains are not high; if there are immortals, they become renowned. Water is not deep; if there are dragons, it becomes sacred." Located at the foot of Fushou Mountain in Taipei City, Songshan Cihui Temple is led by the current master, Guo Yezhi, a devoted laywoman who upholds divine teachings and aids all beings, inspiring believers in spiritual cultivation and purifying hearts. This place was established with a compassionate mindset aimed at alleviating suffering for oneself and others. Songshan Cihui Temple worships the Primordial Jade Pond Saint, Xiwang Jinmu, and is set in an elegant environment with a radiant divine atmosphere, showcasing majestic and graceful scenery surrounded by green mountains. It serves as a place for sincere believers to cultivate their minds and spirit, as well as a must-visit tourist attraction. Covering an area of over 10,000 ping, the temple complex consists of a finely structured five-story building. The temple stands tall, reaching the clouds, with pagoda-style bell and drum towers on either side, enhancing its grandeur and splendor. Standing on the balcony of the second-floor main hall and overlooking the Taipei metropolis, one can take in the entire cityscape, evoking excitement and reluctance to leave. The hall's design is based on traditional Chinese temple architecture, incorporating characteristics of Ming and Qing palace art, blending the old with the new, rich in historical charm, and nestled among lush pines and cypress trees. With red bricks and yellow tiles, it truly resembles a splash of red amidst the greenery, captivating all who visit.
