Sin Mei Church Introduction
For those who assisted in the construction of the church, the congregation presents a small plaque to be hung at their front door. On December 28, 1997, a fire broke out in the village, affecting the church. After more than three years of dedicated efforts, a new church was built, while the old church, marked by the fire, was intentionally preserved. Firstly, the charred remnants possess a unique aesthetic, and it also serves as a part of the village’s history. Secondly, it remains as a reminder and lesson for the villagers.
