Ira Tribal Village Introduction

Before entering the Ila tribe, one can see from afar a gate with a slate roof, adorned with carvings of the Rukai people and the hundred-paced snake. After passing through the gate, the side wall reveals hidden intricacies; the upper part features bas-reliefs depicting the daily lives of the Rukai people, while the lower part is constructed with black slate, silently conveying the culture of the Rukai tribe to visitors. This is also the first village you encounter when entering Wutai Township, boasting natural beauty, with various waterfalls formed in the valley, each with its own distinct characteristics, worth exploring one by one.
