Irab village Introduction
Before entering the Ila tribe, one can see a grand gate topped with slate, adorned with carvings of the Rukai people and the hundred-paced snake from a distance. Upon passing through the gate, intriguing features can be found on the side walls; the upper part is filled with bas-reliefs depicting the daily life of the Rukai people, while the lower part is made of black slate, silently conveying the culture of the Rukai tribe to visitors. This is also the first tribe encountered when entering Wutai Township, offering stunning natural scenery. The various waterfalls formed in the valleys each have their own unique characteristics, making them worth exploring one by one.
