Iraiban Village Introduction
Before entering the Ira Village, you can see a grand gate topped with slate, adorned with carvings of the Rukai people and the habu snake from a distance. Upon entering the gate, the side wall also has hidden mysteries; the upper part features reliefs depicting the daily life of the Rukai people, while the lower part is made of black slate, silently conveying the culture of the Rukai. This is also the first village you encounter when entering Wutai Township, blessed with natural beauty. The various waterfalls formed in the valley each have their own unique styles, making it worthwhile to explore them one by one.
