Ilab tribe Introduction
Before entering the Ilan tribe, one can see a grand entrance gate adorned with carvings of the Rukai people and the hundred-paced snake, topped with a stone slab roof from a distance. Upon entering the gate, the side walls also hold secrets; the upper part features bas-reliefs depicting details of the daily life of the Rukai people, while the lower part is made of black stone slabs, silently conveying the culture of the Rukai. This is also the first tribe you encounter when entering Wutai Township, boasting natural beauty and various waterfalls formed in the valley, each with its own unique charm, worth exploring one by one.
