Gugang Tower Introduction
Gu-kang Building, built in 1964, was designed by Mr. Chuang Wu-nan, a painter from Tamsui, temple renovation expert, and antique collector. Walking along the serene shores of Gu-kang Lake is very pleasant. Climbing to the top of Gu-kang Building offers a stunning view of the lake; on sunny days, the water glimmers beautifully, creating a picturesque scene of lake and mountains. Outside Gu-kang Building, there is a garden where the famous bird of Kinmen, the Eurasian Hoopoe, can often be seen foraging on the lawn, and the area around the lake is a gathering place for various waterfowl.
