Gugang Tower Introduction
Gugang Tower, built in 1964, was constructed by Mr. Zhuang Wunian, a painter from Tamsui, temple repair expert, and antique collector. Strolling along the lakeside of Gugang Lake is very serene and pleasant. Climbing to the top of Gugang Tower offers a view of the lake, where on clear days, the shimmering water creates a beautiful scene of lake and mountains. Outside Gugang Tower, there is a garden green space where the famous bird of Kinmen, the Eurasian Hoopoe, can often be seen foraging on the lawn, and the surrounding areas of the lake are gathering spots for various waterfowl.
