Gugang Tower Introduction
The Gu Gong Lou was built in 1964, and it was constructed by Mr. Zhuang Wunan, a painter from Tamsui, a temple restoration expert, and an antique collector. Strolling along the lakeside of Gu Gong Lake is very tranquil and pleasant. Climbing to the top of Gu Gong Lou, one can overlook the lake, which shimmers beautifully on sunny days, presenting a picturesque view of the lake and mountains. Outside Gu Gong Lou, there is a garden area where the famous bird of Kinmen, the Eurasian Hoopoe, can often be seen foraging on the lawn, while the surrounding areas of the lake are also gathering spots for various waterfowl.
