Aimu Village Cultural Center Introduction
Aimu Village, specializing in healthy and non-toxic cypress wood utensils, originated from a cypress lumber company that has been established in Chiayi for over 50 years. The main focus is on Taiwanese domestic wood species, encompassing everything from lumber processing to product manufacturing, and also providing materials for furniture, wood creative lifestyle products, construction materials, and historic building restoration. Chiayi is known as the lumber capital, and their "healthy and non-toxic cypress wood utensils" are made from domestic materials, produced using a healthy, non-toxic, and non-painting method, ensuring no pollution or waste from processing to finished products. The cypress wood shavings emit forest phytoncides to eliminate odors; the cypress chopsticks are naturally free of artificial coatings and can simply be washed and dried after use, returning the utensils to their original, clean, and unpolluted state. The cypress rice spoon enhances the subtle fragrance of cypress, complementing the aroma of steaming rice.
