Aimu Village Leisure Tourism Factory Introduction
Step into the fairy tale world of "Six Little Pigs" at "Ai Mu Village," where the story of the Three Little Pigs has been transformed into a modern experience hidden in the alleys of Cultural Road. Led by the six little pigs, visitors embark on a refreshed fairy tale journey to discover the beautiful world of cypress wood. Ai Mu Village originated from Shun Yi Wood Industry, which has a history of over half a century in Chiayi. When it passed on to the second generation, Mr. and Mrs. Yen Wei-de, they continuously communicated with the elders in the family to explore the possibilities of wood development. After initially facing skepticism and a lack of understanding, it took three years to finally bring Ai Mu Village to life, gaining recognition and affirmation along the way. The hope is to use this space to help more people understand the various applications of wood, to appreciate the mysteries of trees in nature, and to learn about the history of forestry development, aiming not only to provide a path for the industry but also to preserve visitors' memories of wood. Driven by this original intention, all aspects including interior design, copywriting, and spatial concepts have been crafted by Mr. and Mrs. Yen themselves. They even specially planned interactive game areas and DIY woodworking experiences, hoping that both children and adults will leave with joyful memories and records, achieving the goal of combining education and entertainment. While enjoying the visit, one must try the signature dishes here—the Cypress Egg and Fruit Popsicle. The Cypress Egg, unlike ordinary tea eggs, features a secret herbal recipe combined with cypress wood simmering, making it not only healthy and delicious but also leaving a light scent of cypress in the mouth. The ingredients for the Fruit Popsicle are simple, using only milk and fruit; the owner insists on not adding emulsifiers or other additives, ensuring that visitors can enjoy it with peace of mind while retaining the original fruity flavor. Though Ai Mu Village is a newcomer, it continuously strives for excellence. In just five years since its opening, the number of visitors has been steadily increasing, and there are even plans for adult workshops in the future. With such dedication in management, it is believed that Ai Mu Village will continue to surprise us over time. Recommended dishes: Cypress Egg, Fruit Popsicle, Dorayaki Ice Cream, Winter Melon Tea.
