Chiayi Foods

Step into the fairy tale world of Six Little Pigs! The story of The Three Little Pigs has transformed into the Six Little Pigs hidden in the alleys of Wenhua Road, where visitors can embark on a renovated fairy tale of Aimu Village, discovering the beautiful world of cypress wood. Aimu Village was formerly Shun Yi Wood Industry, with a history of half a century in Chiayi. When it was passed down to the second generation, the couple Yan Wei-de and his wife communicated continuously with the elders in their family to continue the potential for wood development. From initially being underestimated and misunderstood to eventually gaining recognition and affirmation, it took three years for Aimu Village to be born. The aim is to use this space to help more people understand the various applications of wood, to appreciate the mysteries of trees in nature, and to learn about the development of forestry. The mission is not only to create a path for the forestry industry but also to preserve visitors' memories of wood. With this original intention, everything from interior design, copywriting, to spatial concepts has been crafted by the Yan couple themselves. They have even planned interactive game areas and DIY woodcraft experiences to ensure that both children and adults leave with joyful memories and records, achieving the goal of educating while entertaining. While visiting, don't miss trying their signature dishes – Cypress Egg and Fruit Popsicle. The Cypress Egg is unlike regular tea eggs; in addition to a traditional herbal recipe, it is simmered with cypress wood, making it not only healthy and delicious but also leaving a light cypress aroma on the palate. The Fruit Popsicle is made with very simple ingredients, just milk and fruit, and the owner insists on not adding emulsifiers or other additives, allowing visitors to enjoy it with peace of mind while preserving the purest fruit flavor. Although Aimu Village is new, it is constantly striving for excellence. In just five years since its opening, the number of visitors has been continuously rising, and there are even plans for adult craft experience classes in the future. With such dedicated management, it is believed that Aimu Village will continue to surprise us in due time. Recommended dishes: Cypress Egg, Fruit Popsicle, Dorayaki Ice Cream, Winter Melon Tea.
