Aimu Village Leisure and Tourism Factory Introduction
Stepping into the fairy tale world of the "Six Little Pigs," the story of the Three Little Pigs has transformed into a modern tale hidden within the alleys of Cultural Road at "Ai Mu Village." Through the guidance of the six little pigs, visitors embark on a renovated fairy tale journey to discover the beautiful world of cypress wood. The predecessor of Ai Mu Village was Shun Yi Wood Industry, which has a history of nearly half a century in Chiayi. When it was passed down to the second generation, the couple Yan Wei-de and his wife continued to communicate with their elders to explore the potential for wooden development. From initial skepticism and misunderstanding to eventual recognition and affirmation, it took three years for Ai Mu Village to be born. It aims to help more people understand the applications of wood, appreciate the mysteries of trees in nature, and learn about the development of forestry, not only to create a new path for the industry but also to preserve visitors' memories of wood. Driven by this original intention, all aspects of the interior design, content creation, and spatial concepts have been crafted solely by Yan Wei-de and his wife. They have also specially planned an interactive game area and a DIY woodworking experience, hoping to leave joyful memories for visitors of all ages and achieve the goal of edutainment. While visiting, be sure to try their signature dishes – Cypress Eggs and Fruit Popsicles. The Cypress Eggs are different from typical tea eggs, as they not only include a herbal secret recipe but are also simmered with cypress wood, making them healthy and delicious with a subtle cypress aroma lingering on the palate. The ingredients in the Fruit Popsicles are very simple, consisting only of milk and fruit, as the owner insists on not adding emulsifiers or other additives, allowing visitors to enjoy with peace of mind while retaining the original taste of the fruit. Although Ai Mu Village has emerged as a newcomer, it continuously strives for excellence. In just five years of operation, the number of visitors has steadily increased, and there are future plans for adult craft experience classes. With such heartfelt management, it is believed that Ai Mu Village will continue to surprise us in the future. Recommended dishes: Cypress Eggs, Fruit Popsicles, Dorayaki Ice Cream, Winter Melon Tea.
