Aimu Village Leisure and Tourism Factory

Chiayi Foods

Step into the fairy tale world of "Six Little Pigs," inspired by the story of "The Three Little Pigs," now transformed in modern times and nestled in the alleyways of Cultural Road within "Aimu Village." Led by the pigs, visitors embark on a revamped fairy tale journey to explore the beautiful world of cypress wood. Originally a lumber company called Shun Yi Wood Industry with a history of over half a century in Chiayi, it was inherited by the second generation, the couple Yan Wei-de and his wife. To ensure the continuity of wood development, they continually communicated with the elders in the family. After three years of initial struggles and misunderstandings, they finally achieved recognition and officially launched Aimu Village, hoping to create a space where more people can learn about the various uses of wood, appreciate the mysteries of trees in nature, and understand the development of the forestry industry. Their goal is not only to open pathways for the forestry industry but also to preserve visitors' memories of wood. With this genuine intention, all aspects of the interior design, copywriting, and spatial concepts have been personally crafted by the couple, and they have specially planned interactive game areas and DIY woodworking experiences, aiming to leave joyful memories for visitors of all ages while achieving educational purposes through fun. While visiting, don't miss trying the signature dishes here—Cypress Eggs and Fruit Popsicles. The Cypress Eggs are different from ordinary tea eggs, incorporating a secret herbal formula and simmered with cypress wood, making them not only healthy and delicious but also imparting a subtle cypress aroma. The Fruit Popsicles are made from simple ingredients—just milk and fruit—without emulsifiers or additives, allowing visitors to enjoy them with peace of mind while retaining the original fruit flavors. Although Aimu Village is new, it constantly strives for excellence; in just five years since opening, visitor numbers continue to rise, with future plans for adult craft experience classes. With such heartfelt management, it is believed that Aimu Village will continue to surprise us in the years to come. Recommended dishes: Cypress Eggs, Fruit Popsicles, Dorayaki Ice Cream, Winter Melon Tea.
