Aimu Village Leisure Tourism Factory Introduction
Step into the fairytale world of the Six Little Pigs, where the story of the Three Little Pigs transforms into a modern tale, hidden within the alleys of Cultural Road at "Aimu Village." Led by the six little pigs, visitors are taken on a refreshing journey to discover the beautiful world of cypress wood. Aimu Village originated from Shun Yi Wood Industry, which has a history of over half a century in Chiayi. Passed down to the second generation, the couple Yan Wei-De and his wife aimed to continue the development of wood by continuously communicating with the elders in their family. From being initially misunderstood and underestimated to finally gaining recognition, it took three entire years for Aimu Village to come to life. The hope is that through this space, more people will understand the various applications of wood, appreciate the mysteries of trees in nature, and learn about the development of the forestry industry. The goal is not only to create a pathway for the forestry business but also to preserve visitors' memories of wood. With this original intention in mind, all aspects such as interior design, copywriting, and space conceptualization were crafted by Yan Wei-De and his wife without relying on others. They also specially planned interactive game areas and DIY woodcraft experiences, hoping to leave joyful memories for both children and adults while achieving the purpose of education through entertainment. While visiting, don't forget to try the signature dishes here—Cypress Egg and Fruit Popsicle. The Cypress Egg is different from ordinary tea eggs; in addition to a secret herbal recipe, it is also simmered with cypress wood, resulting in a healthy and delicious treat that leaves a subtle cypress aroma in your mouth. The Fruit Popsicle is made with just milk and fruits; the owner insists on not adding emulsifiers or other additives, allowing visitors to enjoy it with peace of mind while preserving the original fruit flavors. Although Aimu Village is a newcomer, it continues to strive for excellence. In just five years since opening, the number of visitors has steadily increased, and there are plans for adult craft experience classes in the future. With such devoted management, it is believed that Aimu Village will continue to surprise us in the years to come. Recommended dishes: Cypress Egg, Fruit Popsicle, Dorayaki Ice Cream, Winter Melon Tea.
