Just like him, his pastry is low-key and stable, yet offers an indescribably delightful flavor. Just from looking at the exterior of the black gold salted egg yolk pastry, one can sense that it is anything but ordinary. The outer layer is a crispy, multi-textured black crust made with bamboo charcoal powder.
