Anping Guiji Food Culture Museum Introduction
Anping Guiji Food Culture Museum, located on Yanping Street in the First Old Street, is built from the ancestral home of the Yang family. From the side view, the traditional architectural style characterized by the curved roofline can still be seen, occasionally visited by pigeons. Another notable feature of the ancestral home is the mini air raid shelter hand-dug by the Yang ancestors to conceal themselves from American bombing, which is thoughtfully constructed and worth a visit. Currently, the entire museum is known for its Guiji famous Ding Bian Cuo (rice noodles), shrimp meatballs, and taro cake, along with offerings from many renowned Tainan snacks, providing a full set of authentic Tainan delicacies, aptly named "Tainan Snack Flavor Meal," allowing customers to enjoy a rich and economical Anping feast.
