Yinbo Pudding Introduction
Yinbo Pudding originated in 1939 when the founder, Wu Lianchun, learned pudding-making from a Japanese master and introduced it as a snack in his tea house. For seventy years, it has been a companion to the citizens of Tainan and a shared memory for many people in Tainan, making it the first dedicated pudding shop in the city. Yinbo Pudding has a rich and creamy texture, with the air pockets of the hand-baked pudding infusing a slightly bitter yet sweet caramel flavor that merges with the rich aroma of eggs, creating a uniquely memorable taste and representing the most authentic expression of traditional flavor.
