Little Leaf Pudding Introduction
Mr. Yeh worked in hardware trading in Japan in his early years, and in his spare time, he enjoyed tasting breads and desserts. During his vacations, he also made desserts himself, with his favorite being pudding. Despite its simplicity, making pudding is not easy, as the texture and aroma can vary greatly depending on temperature, proportions, and baking time. To create the perfect pudding he envisioned, Mr. Yeh experimented with thousands of different ratios and combinations before finally achieving a delicious baked pudding with a golden ratio. In 2008, he returned to Taiwan and established Xiao Yeh Pudding. The pudding sold on the market often contains food additives; the biggest difference with Xiao Yeh Pudding is that it contains absolutely no additives, made only from the most natural ingredients: eggs, milk, and sugar. Every step, from mixing, cup-filling, baking, to packaging, is done by hand. In 2011 and 2012, it was recognized as one of Tainan's Top Ten Souvenirs, bringing assurance from the Tainan City Government that consumers can purchase and enjoy it with confidence. In the future, he hopes everyone in Taiwan can feel the effort and dedication behind Xiao Yeh Pudding.
