Little Leaf Pudding Introduction
Mr. Yeh worked in hardware trading in Japan during his early years. In his spare time, he enjoyed tasting various breads and desserts, and during vacations, he would make desserts himself. His favorite dessert is pudding. Because it is simple to make and uses easily accessible ingredients, this seemingly simple pudding is actually quite complex to prepare. The texture and aroma of the pudding can vary greatly depending on temperature, proportions, and baking time. To create the perfect pudding he envisioned, Mr. Yeh experimented with thousands of different ratios and combinations, eventually crafting a delicious baked pudding with a golden ratio. In 2008, he returned to Taiwan and established Xiao Yeh Pudding. The main difference between Xiao Yeh Pudding and other puddings available on the market is that it contains absolutely no food additives; it is made using only the most natural ingredients: eggs, milk, and sugar. Every step, from mixing, pouring into cups, baking, to packaging, is done entirely by hand. In 2011 and 2012, it was recognized as one of Tainan's Top Ten Souvenirs, with the endorsement and guarantee of the Tainan City Government, reassuring consumers that they can purchase and enjoy it with peace of mind. In the future, Mr. Yeh hopes that people all over Taiwan can feel the effort and dedication put into Xiao Yeh Pudding.
