Xiao Ye Pudding Introduction
Mr. Yeh worked in the hardware trade in Japan in his early years. During his spare time, he enjoyed tasting various breads and desserts, and on his days off, he would also make desserts himself, with his favorite being pudding. Pudding is simple to make and requires easily obtainable ingredients, yet it is not as straightforward as it seems. The texture and aroma of the pudding can vary significantly depending on the temperature, proportions, and baking time. To create the perfect pudding he envisioned, Mr. Yeh experimented with thousands of different ratios and combinations, ultimately crafting a delicious baked pudding with a golden ratio. In 2008, he returned to Taiwan and established Xiao Yeh Pudding. Unlike many puddings available on the market today that contain food additives, Xiao Yeh Pudding stands out for having absolutely no added preservatives or artificial ingredients. It is made entirely from the most natural ingredients: eggs, milk, and granulated sugar. Every step from mixing, pouring into cups, baking, to packaging is done by hand. Between 2011 and 2012, Xiao Yeh Pudding was honored as one of Tainan's top ten souvenirs for two consecutive years. With recognition and assurance from the Tainan City Government, consumers can feel more secure in purchasing and enjoying the pudding. In the future, Mr. Yeh hopes that people all over Taiwan will appreciate the effort and dedication behind Xiao Yeh Pudding.
