Donghe Baozi Introduction
Since its official opening on June 24, 1998, Donghe Baozi has continuously improved its techniques and operated with care, creating nostalgic and warm memories under the old banyan tree. However, the relocation of the provincial highway and the unfriendly and disrespectful use of our hard-earned reputation, along with the complicated property ownership issues of the old house, have incessantly eroded the precious results of our earnest efforts. Nevertheless, we are undeterred. We invested heavily in purchasing land to build a new site, and after more than a year of work, on the afternoon of December 31, 2005, we concluded business at the old location and successfully opened the new site the following day on New Year's Day. Of course, due to the busy nature of our operations, we did not send out invitations or advertisements, so many good friends and regular customers were not informed. We would like to apologize for that. We would like to thank all those who participated in the construction of the new location, creating a beautiful, eye-catching new home that has become a new landmark for Donghe Baozi; thank our friends who assisted during the relocation process; thank the United Daily News and China Times for their friendly coverage; and special thanks to all our employees who have almost made the baozi shop their home.
