Donghe Bun Introduction
Since officially opening on June 24, 1998, Donghe Baozi has undergone several technical improvements and has been operated with care, creating nostalgic and warm memories under the old banyan tree. However, the changes in provincial road alignments and the unfriendly and disrespectful use of the renowned reputation we worked hard to build, along with the complicated ownership issues of the old building, have repeatedly eroded the precious results gained through diligence and realism. Nevertheless, we remain undeterred. We invested heavily to purchase land for a new location, and after more than a year of effort, on December 31, 2005, we ceased operations at the old venue and successfully opened the new site on New Year's Day. Of course, amidst the busy times of business, we did not send out invitations or advertise, and many good friends and loyal customers were not informed, for which we sincerely apologize. We would like to thank all those who participated in constructing the new location, creating a beautiful, eye-catching new home that has become a new landmark for Donghe Baozi; we appreciate the friends who assisted during the relocation process; we are grateful for the friendly coverage from United Daily News and China Times; and most importantly, we thank all our employees who have made the baozi shop their second home.
