Little Donkey German Organic Bread

Taitung Foods

"Little Donkey German Organic Bread" is located in Donghe Township, run by Brother Wu, who is originally from Taichung and belongs to the Hakka community. After getting involved in organic agriculture, he recognized the value of organic farming and decided to settle in Taitung over three years ago to pursue an organic dream along the beautiful east coast. Because he enjoys the texture of handmade products and the joy derived from crafting them himself, Brother Wu focuses on making organic bread and douhua (tofu pudding). He uses higher-priced organic ingredients, including locally sourced organic red beans from Taitung and USDA-certified non-GMO soybeans, as well as flour from Germany that is certified organic. In the future, he hopes to continue collaborating with local small farmers in Taitung to offer more high-quality, healthy, vegetarian-friendly products. In addition to the storefront, you can find Brother Wu at the Taitung University Farmers Market every Sunday, and at the Tiehua Village Market every Friday to Sunday. Delicious items like "Red Bean Douhua," "Charcoal-Burned Brown Sugar Douhua," and "Red Bean Bread" are signature offerings that health-conscious food lovers shouldn't miss!
