Sankou Qiaotou Sisters' Oyster Omelette Introduction

Huang Hsueh-eh, who lives in Sanchikou, seized the business opportunity in Qigu tourism and invited her sister-in-law Li Shu-ling to sell fried oyster pancakes at Qiaotou Seafood Street. Due to people asking if they were sisters, they decided to name their stall "Sister Oyster Pancakes." They chose to operate only on Sundays, as the tourist crowd in Qigu mainly gathers on Saturdays and Sundays. Since they only fry on one day, there is no issue with reused oil. The batter for Sister Oyster Pancakes consists of oyster pancake flour, crispy flour, and low-gluten flour, with fillings including cabbage, celery, chives, bean sprouts, and oysters. In addition to oyster pancakes, "Sister Oyster Pancakes" also sells fried shrimp, fried tilapia, and fried milkfish belly. The shrimp are a mix of shrimp caught from "Fifteen Koonzi," including sea shrimp and Tian Gong shrimp. The tilapia is farmed by her father for quality control, making it popular among customers. The milkfish belly refers to the back of the milkfish, while the milkfish fillet is the part located below the milkfish belly. In 2010, Li Shu-ling opened "Tianye Kitchen" near "No. 61 Oyster Pancakes," selling freshly squeezed juice and tea, while "Sister Oyster Pancakes" is run by Huang Hsueh-eh and her husband Zhu Wen-hsing.
