Huliao Pond Suspension Bridge Introduction
Drive through the urban area of Pinglin on Ping-Shuang Road for about five kilometers, then turn right onto the Huliaotan Branch Road. After about one kilometer, you will reach the Huliaotan Suspension Bridge, where you can freely admire the beauty of the bridge and listen to the gentle sounds of the Beishi River. Surrounded by mountains, the area takes on a shape reminiscent of dog teeth, with the oddly shaped stones and tranquil waters creating a strong contrast. All around are the emerald green waters, and a look down reveals fish swimming leisurely in the stream, making for beautiful photographs at any click of the shutter. The Huliaotan Suspension Bridge is a famous suspension bridge in the Pinglin area, located upstream of the Huliaotan Bridge, with a total length of 110 meters. It was commonly used by early settlers traversing the mountains and streams.
