Huliao Pond Suspension Bridge Introduction
Traveling through the urban area of Pinglin City on Ping-Shuang Road, after about five kilometers, turn right onto the Huliaotan Branch Line, and you will reach the Huliaotan Suspension Bridge in about one kilometer, where you can freely appreciate the beauty of the bridge and listen to the gentle sound of the Beishi River. Surrounded by mountains, the landscape resembles jagged dog’s teeth, and the oddly shaped stones in the stream create a strong contrast with the tranquil water. With emerald water all around, a glance down reveals schools of fish swimming leisurely, making it easy to capture beautiful photos with just a click of the shutter. The Huliaotan Suspension Bridge is a famous bridge in the Pinglin area, situated upstream from the Huliaotan Bridge, measuring 110 meters in length, and was commonly used by early settlers for crossing mountains and streams.
