Indian Head Rock Introduction
The magnificent scenery sculpted by nature can be seen along the coastal ridgeline of Dahan Military Post. Due to the long-term erosion of coastal rocks by waves and winds, there is a profile resembling an Indian's head lying by the shoreline, while some liken it to a Black Emperor or gorilla's head. If you look to the right from the entrance of the North Hai Tunnel, some have also compared the entire slope to a lying crocodile, a shape so vivid and lifelike that it sparks amazement and fulfills individual imaginations. Indian Head Rock, Dahan Military Post, and North Hai Tunnel are located close to each other and near Matsu's Nangan Tourist Center. If you visit Ren'ai Village in Nangan, consider arranging a route to explore multiple attractions. Accompanied by spectacular scenery and the sound of waves, you can enjoy the natural wonders and military landscapes. Note: Indian Head Rock is located directly above Dahan Military Post and can be viewed from the right observation deck facing the North Hai Tunnel.
