Matsu National Scenic Area Administration & Visitor Center Introduction

With superb attractions, the Traveler's Station in Matsu offers authentic Fuzhou cuisine that exudes a unique charm, attracting literary figures and food lovers alike. Visiting Matsu in different seasons allows you to appreciate the wildflowers blooming across the hills, making you feel as if you are in a garden at sea, forgetting mundane worries. After the cessation of military governance, the Matsu National Scenic Area Administration was officially established on November 26, 1999, responsible for the planning, construction, and management of the scenic area. Upon arriving at the Nangan Visitor Center, you will be greeted by a statue of flying terns on the grassy slope nearby. The visitor center, designed in the shape of a Minnan stone house, along with coastal erosion wonders and the sound of crashing waves, along with its proximity to the Beihai Tunnel and Dahan Stronghold, creates a beautiful picturesque scene. The Nangan Visitor Center is well-equipped and modern, offering services such as presentation video viewing, tourism consultation, and brochure distribution, as well as a souvenir shop, making it the best rest stop for travelers in Matsu.
