Matsu National Scenic Area Administration & Visitor Center Introduction

With excellent attractions, the Matsu Traveler's Station offers authentic Fuzhou cuisine, exuding an alluring unique charm that captivates literary figures and food lovers alike. Visiting Matsu in different seasons reveals a picturesque display of wildflowers, creating an illusion of being in a floral garden at sea, allowing one to forget worldly troubles. After the wartime governance was lifted, the Matsu National Scenic Area Administration officially began operations on November 26, 1999, responsible for the planning, construction, and management of the scenic area. Upon arriving at the Nangan Visitor Center, a statue of flying terns stands on the grassy slopes nearby, alongside a visitor center building designed in the style of Eastern Min stone houses, the sculpted sea erosion landscapes, and the sound of crashing waves. Close to the Beihai Tunnel and Dahan Base, this creates a breathtaking scene reminiscent of a utopia. The facilities inside the Nangan Visitor Center are complete and modern, offering services such as briefing videos, tourism consultations, and pamphlet collections, and there is also a souvenir shop, making it the best rest stop for travelers in Matsu's Nangan!
