Matsu National Scenic Area Administration & Visitor Center Introduction
The Traveler's Inn, with its superb attractions, offers authentic Fuzhou cuisine from Matsu, exuding an alluring unique charm that captivates writers and food enthusiasts alike. Visiting Matsu in different seasons reveals wildflowers sprawling across the hills, making one feel as if they are in a seaside garden, forgetting the troubles of the mundane world. After the military administration was lifted, the Matsu National Scenic Area Administration was officially established on November 26, 1999, responsible for the planning, construction, and management of the scenic area. Upon arriving at the Nangan Visitor Center, one can admire the soaring and dancing seagull statue on the adjacent grassy slope, along with the tourist center building designed in the style of Eastern Fujian stone houses, the unique coastal geological features, and the sounds of crashing waves. Nearby attractions include the Beihai Tunnel and the Dahan Stronghold, collectively creating a picturesque scene reminiscent of a paradise. The Nangan Visitor Center is well-equipped and modern, offering services such as video presentations, tourist information, pamphlet distribution, and a souvenir shop, making it the best rest stop for travelers in Matsu's Nangan.
