Guanyin Waterfall Scenic Area Introduction
During the winter solstice, sunset occurs earlier. To ensure the safety of visitors, the operating hours will be adjusted from December 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, to 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Within Wenfeng Village lies the famous Guanyin Waterfall Scenic Area, known for its beautiful scenery. The Guanyin Waterfall Scenic Area is surrounded by mountains, and both sides of the valley feature steep cliffs. There are a total of eight waterfalls in the area, cascading down from high mountain peaks, appearing like silver threads and majestic torrents, resembling galloping horses. Some waterfalls elegantly and delicately pour down, creating wonders in the forest canyon. Due to severe damage to the Tongtianpo Trail leading to the third waterfall, from August 9, 2025, only the second waterfall, Piaogu Yu Waterfall, will be accessible. In accordance with this situation, the ticket prices have been temporarily adjusted as follows: General public/foreign visitors 30 NTD free entry; Seniors aged 65 and above; Children aged 12 and below; Holders of Volunteer Honor Cards (must present the volunteer service honor card); Residents of Chiayi County and City; Individuals with disabilities must present disability certificates and may be accompanied by one necessary person. ※ Those with the above identities can show their documents directly at the entrance and queue for entry.
