Chong Tian Tea Factory (Jie Kang Tea House) Introduction
Jinshicun was once a center for handmade paper production. Due to the passage of time and the decline of the industry, most of the paper mills have been demolished, with only the ruins of the Lin family paper mill preserved. The owner of the Congtian Tea Factory, located in Jinshicun, is also the caretaker of the Lin family paper mill ruins. The Congtian Tea Factory is situated at approximately 59.5K along County Road 166, where visitors can enjoy a view of the Chianan Plain from the pavilion beside the factory on clear days. Here, you can learn about the tea-making process and book experiences for tea rolling and tasting, as well as engage in hand-made paper experiences to understand the complex early paper-making process. It’s a great place for both friends to explore together and families to enjoy an outing!
